Positive, Engaged, Achieving Kids

PEAK is a national study designed to understand the effectiveness of a classroom program intended to improve early elementary students’ social behavior. Participating classrooms across the country will implement a brief social skills curriculum, the Social Skills Improvement System – Classwide Intervention Program (SSIS-CIP). Through this study, we will measure student outcomes and teacher perceptions to evaluate the effectiveness and usefulness of the SSIS-CIP.

The research is funded by the Institute of Education Sciences and conducted in partnership with The Pennsylvania State University.
