Positive, Engaged, Achieving Kids

(PEAK)

PEAK is a national study designed to understand the effectiveness of a classroom program intended to improve early elementary students’ social behavior. Participating classrooms across the country will implement a brief social skills curriculum, the SSIS Social Emotional Learning – Classwide Intervention Program (SSIS SEL CIP). Through this study, we will measure student outcomes and teacher perceptions to evaluate the effectiveness and usefulness of the program.

The research is funded by the Institute of Education Sciences and conducted in partnership with The Pennsylvania State University.
